The private boat trip to the Bottom of Murchison Falls is the most admired and it is also the link to the hike to the top of the falls. The activity takes about 3 hours and is done on the Victoria Nile. The launch trip starts from dock at Paraa and it sails up stream towards the falls. The boat sails through a number of hippo schools floating on water, herds of elephants showering on the river bank, a couple of oribis, flocks of Warthogs, Crocodiles and beautiful water birds including Pied, Giant and Malachite Kingfishers; African fish eagle, African jacana, Saddle-billed stork, Egrets, Swamp Flycatcher, Grey heron among many others.
It is such a cool ride in a midst of the real beauty of the Nile. The ride goes on better towards the bottom of the falls with a couple of bottles of cold drinks with the friends. Close to the bottom of falls you will be met by magnificent views of the falls; both Murchison falls and distant views of Uhuru falls.

After breakfast at the lodge, do a morning game drive or relax at the lodge and enjoy the beautiful scenic views of the Nile as you prepare for your flight to Kasese where you will be picked by our safari driver and then drive for about 2:30 hours to the lodge.

Chimp trekking in Kibale forest
After breakfast, drive to the park headquarters at Kanyanchu where you will be briefed by the park ranger guide about the dos and donts while in the park. Start the trek through the tropical forest to look for the common chimpanzee. Return to the lodge for lunch, later visit Bigodi wetland.
