Day 2: 29-Apr-2026

Arusha to Kilimanjaro Day trip - Marangu Route

After enjoying a filling breakfast, gear up for a thrilling adventure as you embark on a 2-hour drive to the Marangu gate, the starting point for your trek. From there, you will begin your ascent to Mandara hut, which is situated at an elevation of 2,700 meters above sea level. The hike to Mandara hut is relatively easy and takes about 3-4 hours, covering a distance of approximately 8 km.

As you hike, you will be surrounded by lush rainforests that are home to a variety of exotic flora and fauna, including monkeys, colobus, and birds such as turacos, hornbills, and sunbirds. You may also catch glimpses of Kilimanjaro's snowy peaks, which loom majestically in the distance. The hike to Mandara hut is a great way to kick off your Kilimanjaro trek and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Tanzania.

Day 3: 30-Apr-2026

Arusha National Park Day Trip

You will be met by your guide at your Accommodation in Arusha in the morning and embark on an exciting game drive and walking safari in Arusha National Park, where you'll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and baboons. The park is also home to many bird species, including flamingos, eagles, and turacos. The landscape in the park is diverse, ranging from open savannah to lush forest, and includes the imposing Mount Meru, which dominates the park's skyline. You'll be accompanied by an armed ranger, who will help ensure your safety and provide insightful commentary on the park's flora and fauna. After the morning safari, in the afternoon, head to Dolly Estate for a thrilling horse riding experience. Evening return back to Arusha
