Half Day Samburu Game Drive

Heading out on a game drive in the semi-arid park that showcases the unique wildlife that Samburu is home to. In addition to more 'conventional' safari animal sightings, you'll also have the chance to spot the Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, long-necked Gerenuk and Grevy's Zebra - the famous 'Special Five'.

Full Day Samburu Game Drive

You'll have a full day to explore the park in search of its rarer inhabitants as well as the likes of leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, antelopes, and more. While Samburu is smaller than other Kenyan parks and reserves, its diverse wildlife tend to cluster closer together near the life-giving Ewaso Ng'iro River, making it an ideal place to set up camp and do some game-viewing.

Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

After breakfast proceed with a 3 hours drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy to explore a game drive through the park, you'll visit the famous Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Morani Centre. Meet the highly-endangered chimpanzees and the friendly Baraka, a tamed rhino. Don't miss the chance to feed Baraka and then continue your drive in search of the Big 5.

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

You'll head out into the park for a game drive. While on your game drive, you'll stop at the park's famous Chimpanzee Sanctuary for a guided tour. You'll get to meet the sanctuary's highly-endangered and highly intelligent residents under the watchful eye of a specially trained ranger.

Your game drive will also include a visit to the Morani Centre to meet Baraka, the conservancy's famous tamed rhino. A blind rhino who was moved to the conservancy for his own safety, Baraka is a friendly sight and visitors can even participate in his feeding at various times during the day.

After these visits, you'll finish off your afternoon with a drive through the park in search of the Big 5 - leopards, lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo.
