Hike To The Top Of Murchison Falls
The hike to the top of Murchison falls is another exciting adventure done in the park. the hike leads you to the most exciting part of the falls, you get to see the 8 m wide trench where the Nile water on very high pressure force its way through the gorge.
The activity starts with a 2 hour boat trip on the Victoria Nile which will offer great wildlife viewing opportunities. Either way, you could drive to the top of the falls. At the bottom of the falls, you will leave the boat and start the hike to the top of the falls.
Hikers are escorted and accompanied by a profession park ranger guide who will tell you a lot about the park. the activity takes about 45 minutes from the point where the Nile boat drops you and you start the guided walk at the top of the falls, going through the early explorers footmarks where the route is full of water logged areas, you will be imposition to spot a lot of flying bird species, butterflies among other wildlife offering you great imagination of the pearl of Africa. The hike also offers great scenery views of the parks beauty.
As you reach the top of the falls you will be welcomed by a loud roar of the falls as the Nile waters plunges over the rocks in the gorge. You will enjoy seeing this so much. This is an experience that brings all the senses into play: watch waves of white water tumble hypnotically through this six-meter chasm, listen to the roar, taste the spray on your face and feel the rock shake beneath your feet. Sheer sensory overload!
As you do the activity your safari guide will drive to the top where you will find him and then drive back to the lodge.

Today, we embark on a journey to Kibale Forest National Park, situated in Western Uganda. Covering an area of approximately 766 km2, this park boasts lush evergreen forests. Located 320 kilometers south of Kampala, Kibale National Park is renowned for its rich biodiversity. Home to about 325 bird species, including the olive long-tailed cuckoo, Western Green tinker bird, African Grey Parrot, and Green-breasted Pitta, it is a birdwatcher's paradise. Additionally, the park is inhabited by 13 primate species and over 60 other mammal species.
One of the park's main attractions is the endangered chimpanzees.
