Kibale National Park to Jinja

After breakfast, you will depart from Kibale and begin a scenic drive of approximately 7 hours to the vibrant town of Jinja, located on the shores of Lake Victoria and widely known as the adventure capital of East Africa.

The journey will take you through beautiful rural landscapes, tea and sugarcane plantations, and bustling local towns, offering a glimpse into everyday Ugandan life along the way. Upon arrival in Jinja, the town’s relaxed atmosphere and stunning river views immediately set the tone for adventure.

Jinja is most famous as the source of the mighty Nile River and is internationally renowned for its thrilling outdoor activities, especially world-class white-water rafting on the Nile’s powerful rapids.
