The climb of this active volcano takes place at night. Departure from the camp is around 11pm. You will start climbing around mid night, and so you will be at the top around 5am. Rest a bit while waiting for the sunrise to finally admire the wide plain of Serengeti that will stretch in front of you. The descent must be done before it gets too hot, because the sun heats up very quickly.
